Preparing a surety bond usually means chasing paperwork across several offices. SuretyPH brings that work online: clear requirement lists, one place to submit documents, and visibility on where a request stands.
What SuretyPH Does
SuretyPH is an online information, inquiry and request-facilitation platform. Through the platform, users may:
obtain general information concerning surety bonds and related requirements;
submit inquiries regarding surety bond products and services;
provide information and documents relevant to their inquiry;
request additional information concerning surety bond requirements; and
facilitate communication with the relevant insurance provider or its duly authorized representatives.
What SuretyPH Does Not Do
SuretyPH is not an insurance company, insurance broker, or insurance agent. SuretyPH does not:
underwrite insurance or surety risks;
approve insurance policies or surety bonds;
bind insurance coverage;
issue insurance policies or surety bonds; or
guarantee that an inquiry or application will be approved.
Submission of information, requirements, documents, or an inquiry through SuretyPH does not constitute approval, acceptance, binding, or issuance of an insurance policy or surety bond.
How the Digital Process Works
A customer learns about the bond required, submits an inquiry or bond request, provides the relevant information and uploads supporting documents. SuretyPH organizes the file and refers it to the Participating Insurer for evaluation.
The insurer evaluates and underwrites the application, approves or declines it, and issues the bond where approved. The customer can follow the progress of the request online.
Participating Insurer
Travellers Insurance and Surety Corporation (TRISCO) participates on SuretyPH as a licensed Participating Insurer.
Insurance and surety bond applications referred through SuretyPH remain subject to TRISCO's applicable requirements, evaluation, underwriting, approval, pricing and issuance procedures.
